The Prayer of Salvation

The Bible tells us how we can be set free from our sins and how we can inherit eternal life. Indirectly or directly, both the Old and the New Testament point rightfully so to Jesus Christ as the Saviour of mankind. To be saved, our desire is for all to read carefully and agree with the following words.

Please say this prayer out loud:

Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I acknowledge that I am a sinner. I am sorry for my sins and the life that I have lived; I ask for your forgiveness. I am now willing to turn away from my sins.

Father, I believe that your only begotten Son Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross at Calvary and died for my sins. With all my heart, I believe that You raised Him from the dead three days after.

I ask you Jesus to come into my heart, to be Lord over my life and to be my own personal Savior.

Father, I ask you to give me your Holy Spirit to fill, guide, protect, counsel, teach and lead me. Send Your angels to gather around and protect me from satan and his evil forces. Give me the strength and courage to change my ways, to resist the devil and avoid sin in the future.

Help me grow in wisdom, knowledge and love for You and Your Word.  I surrender my life so that I may bring glory and honor to You alone.

I pray and ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen
